Women’s bodies go through tremendous changes during pregnancy, and birth itself can put strain on the pelvic floor and the bladder. The pelvic floor muscles and bladder all have intimate, precise relations with the hips and pelvis and breathing. Any imbalances in these areas can put excess strain on the structures that support the bladder. This difficult and frustrating problem often responds well to a treatment that simply but effectively gets all the structures into a natural balance.
We have found a careful treatment that balances all the structures in the low back, hips, pelvis and pelvic floor can often make a real difference. Nerve function is improved, muscles regain balance and strength, and the body can sense itself better so improving the way everything works. It is not always a miracle cure, but with steady work we have found that things usually improve.
