History of Our Osteopathy Practice
The Fulham Osteopathic Practice was founded in 1989 by
Melinda Cotton. The practice has steadily expanded and
now has a team of 12 osteopaths and seven alternative
practitioners working together. We all work in a gentle
way using a broad range of techniques to suit the
individual patient, ranging from the more traditional
osteopathic techniques to the very gentle technique known
as cranial osteopathy. We offer effective treatment for a
wide range of conditions from neck and back pain,
migraine, sports injuries, to the aches and pains of
pregnancy, babies with colic and children with glue ear.
After many happy years in Finlay Street, Fulham, we
decided that our vision for community healthcare
provision meant that we needed to find a more accessible
location. After years of searching we finally found the
perfect location in the heart of Fulham, close enough to
still be convenient for our local patients from our old
location. We were able to design a practice to our
specifications with help from our Architects and helpful
Builder (who was very patient with some of our unusual or
exacting specifications), and we now have a wonderful set
of treatment rooms and reception. We decided to call
ourselves Fulham Osteopaths in 2007, as this is what many
people called us anyway. We are always trying to be fresh
and alive, and most recently have completed a relaxing
courtyard to the rear of the practice. Art and life come
together in our space, and we hope you like it.
